Treehouse | Learn how to code online
Learn how to code at your own pace! Treehouse is my favorite online resource because their videos are high quality taught by high quality teachers. On top of that, they update their curriculum extremely fast! So if there are any changes to a programming language, you betcha Treehouse is on top of it and will keep ya in the know!
TECH TALENT SOUTH | Code Immersion
In January of 2016, I enrolled in Tech Talent South's full-time Code Immersion course and my life has forever changed! Not only did I accelerate my coding journey and learn how to build web apps... but TTS also connected me to the tech community in my city. Learning new skills is one thing but building relationships with professionals in your community is a must when seeking a career change. In my experience, TTS went over and beyond to make sure I learned how to code and make me feel like family.
If you want to apply or simply contact them about their Code Immersion program... complete the form in the link below and TTS will contact you soon.
Bluehost | Web hosting for your website(s)
There's a lot of different web hosting companies and Bluehost is my favorite. When you're new to building websites everything feels very overwhelming but the customer service at Bluehost has been awesome. Not only did they walk me through the basic understanding of web hosting and servers but I had a representative who also helped me use FTP for the first time. And of course, their web hosting service in general has been fast and reliable the past few years. But when customer service is readily available and patient... that drastically improves the experience, in my opinion. If you try them out, you'll see what I mean.
Tools 4 Wisdom | 2017 goal setting & planner
This is the secret to my organization and productivity. I use my phone to schedule appointments but this planner holds annual, monthly and weekly goals while scheduling realistic blocks of time to complete my To Do Lists. Available in many different colors and often on sale! I highly recommend this planner if you want to achieve your 2017 goals. Don't believe me? Check it out yourself!
K Money Mastery | Guide to writing ebooks
Back in July of 2016, I had this wild idea of writing my own book. I've written an 80 page thesis for graduate school but had no idea how to create a Kindle book. Stefan Pylarino's K Money Mastery taught me the ins and the outs of stepping into the world of Kindle eBooks. If you're interested in writing an eBook and are overwhelmed, I highly recommend you check out this product. It consists of informative but concise videos that clearly tell you how to tackle this seemingly daunting task. It even shares some "short cuts" that help you work efficiently and finish your book quickly. I love this resource and know you will too.
